The Executive of the Canadian Evaluation Society BC  is pleased to announce that our 2024 AGM will be held in Vancouver.

*Please register even if you are attending the conference first as space is limited

**If you have recently joined (or renew with) CES please email details to cesbc.louise.mason@gmail.com (as CES National updates are periodic). Note that members must be in good standing to vote)

Location: SFU Harbour Centre, 515 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 5K3

There is no charge to attend this meeting but please register by September 15 for food and drink tickets. Seating is limited. Please cancel your registration if you will be unable to attend.

Nominations are open for the following positions (2025 Council Year commences at the AGM):

1. Council Executive Positions

  • President [2025 & 2026 – two year term]
  • Vice-President [2025 – interim year
  • Treasurer [2025 & 2026 – two year term]
  • Member at Large – Membership Secretary [2025 - interim term] (with plans to repurpose this role to Professional Development & Communication Support, subject to bylaw amendment approval)
  • Member at Large – Conference Lead [2025 & 2026 – two year term]
  • Member at Large – Professional Development & Communication Lead [2025 & 2026 – two year term]

2. Coordinator Positions

In addition, there are opportunities for the following appointed positions which can be shared roles:

  • Student & Emerging Evaluators Coordinator(s) currently one coordinator in the role
  • Interior/Okanagan Coordinator(s) – currently one coordinator in the role (suited to CESBC members who live in the Interior of British Columbia)
  • Vancouver Island Co-Coordinator(s) – currently one coordinator in the role (suited to CESBC members who live in or near Victoria)
  • Northern Regional Coordinator(s) - currently one coordinator in the role (suited to CESBC members who live in northern British Columbia)
