Overview

CESBC is excited to announce the 2024 annual one-day conference, dedicated to continuing our mission of bringing meaningful learning and deeper growth to the BC evaluation community. Through engaging and interactive presentations, workshops, and networking activities, we aim to foster an environment for collaborative knowledge exchange.

This year's conference invites participants to examine how we can evolve our evaluation practice to grow together and better support the individuals and communities we work with, as well as create a more sustainable future. We want to build on previous experience and learnings, while also exploring new technology, tools, and areas of focus.

The 2024 conference theme will be explored through three streams:

1. Emerging Trends in Evaluation: Exploring Together to Improve Our Work

2. Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA): Building Our Skills and Integrating Learnings Into Practice

3. Evaluation Coffee Talk and Story Exchange: Sharing Stories From Our Work

The conference is an opportunity to share experiences from our work, bring forward ideas, and present questions and challenges for discussion with the BC evaluation community.

We look forward to your participation!

We are committed to inclusive participation in our conference activities. Please contact us any time at CESBC.Conference@gmail.com to let us know how we can support you!

The Conference Organizers

The conference is brought to you by the members and volunteers of the BC Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CESBC).

CESBC is a chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES), the professional organization for evaluation professionals, students, academics and users of evaluation (such as managers, program staff and planners). CESBC is a member funded voluntary organization. We work to provide the evaluation community living in BC with learning opportunities, networking and resources. We are happy to take advice and organize events that the community suggests.
