  CESBC is inviting you to its upcoming in-person evening social for Northern BC Evaluation Professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity to network, share insights, and explore your passions in the field of evaluation.

  This casual social event is designed to bring together evaluation professionals from Northern BC to connect, discuss current trends, and enjoy a relaxed evening of networking, as well as a featured brief presentation by Dr. Jacqueline Holler.

  Whether you are an experienced evaluator or new to the field, this event promises to offer valuable interactions and discussions. We look forward to seeing you there.

  About the Presenter: Dr. Jacqueline Holler is a Professor in the Department of History and Women’s & Gender Studies Programs at the University of Northern British Columbia. She is part of the Leadership Team for Northern FIRE and Co-Director of the Travelling Knowledges Program (2021–2025) & QES Scholars Program (2024–2027). Dr. Holler will present on the evaluation of violence prevention programs based on recent work her team has conducted.

  Overview

  CESBC is excited to announce our 2024 annual one-day conference. The conference is an opportunity to share experiences from our work, bring forward ideas, and present questions and challenges for discussion with the BC evaluation community.

  This year's conference invites participants to examine how we can evolve our evaluation practice to grow together and better support the individuals and communities we work with, as well as create a more sustainable future. 

  The Conference Organizers

  The conference is brought to you by the members and volunteers of the BC chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society. CESBC is a chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES), the professional organization for evaluation professionals, students, academics and users of evaluation (such as managers, program staff and planners). CESBC is a member funded voluntary organization. We work to provide the evaluation community in British Columbia with learning opportunities, networking and resources. We are happy to take advice and organize events that the community suggests.
