Every evaluator wants to see their findings used for informed decision and policy-making, but this doesn’t happen by magic. How you write your recommendations can play a key role. In this short interactive webinar, we’ll look at ways to write more actionable recommendations. Participants will have an opportunity to practice on real-life examples in small groups and individually. Please bring your own recommendation to work on during the session.

Biography of presenter:

Kylie Hutchinson is an external evaluator with Community Solutions Planning & Evaluation and author of three books on program planning and evaluation: A Short Primer on Innovative Evaluation Reporting, Evaluation Failures: 22 Tales of Mistakes Made and Lessons Learned, and Survive and Thrive: Three Steps to Securing Your Program’s Sustainability. Her passion is developing practical tools and resources for evaluators working in the trenches.
