Webinar description:

Progress Markers are central to the Outcome Mapping methodology and are intended to be developed in collaboration with project or program partners. The Compassion, Inclusion and Engagement initiative is supporting people with lived and living experience of substance use to engage in the planning and implementation of harm reduction services and overdose prevention across BC. Join us to learn about our experience developing Progress Markers and implementing the Outcome Mapping methodology. During this interactive 60-minute webinar, we will share what we have learned about using Outcome Mapping, provide resources you can use if you are interested in using Outcome Mapping and take your questions regarding our experience.

Biography of presenters:

Sally Maguet is the owner and principle consultant for Context Evaluation Consulting in Vancouver, BC. She has designed, and implemented evaluations of complex, system-oriented initiatives in a variety of health programs and services including Mental Health and Substance Use, Harm Reduction, Indigenous and Environmental Health.

Charlene Burmeister has over 10 years of experience in peer engagement and leadership, and holds several roles including the Provincial Peer Coordinator for the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC), the Provincial Peer Coordinator for the Compassion, Inclusion, and Engagement Project (a partnership between BCCDC and First Nations Health Authority), and is the Founder and President of the Coalition of Substance Users of the North (CSUN). She is also a board member of the BC Yukon Drug War Survivors and the Canadian Association of People Who Use Drugs. Charlene was one of the first members of the provincial advisory committee, PEEP in 2015 and continues to inform provincial harm reduction policy using her expertise and leadership.
