Evaluation as Social Learning

  • The theme of the club is evaluation as social learning. Dialogue around chapters will follow themes of adaptation and coevolution, participatory approaches, collective leadership and impact.
  • The group will assemble biweekly for 60 minutes, and will cover 2 chapters at a time.
  • We will meet face-to-face at launch and wrap-up, and via virtual meeting for bulk of chapters.
  • The club will use a rotating facilitator, with members taking turns leading the discussion of the chapters. A template may be provided to support members in planning.
  • The activities of the group will be managed using a Google Docs folder.
  • Overall cost to participate in the book club: $10 CES members, $15 non-members
