Funding Opportunities

CESBC is committed to making evaluation education and events accessible. We offer two funding programs to support members from groups who are underrepresented in the profession.

DEI Fund

This fund aims to reduce financial barriers for underrepresented groups to access learning opportunities. Funds can be applied to any expense related to attending an evaluation-related training, workshop, or other professional development opportunity.

Applicants must reside in British Columbia to apply, although the opportunity can take place anywhere.

Eligibility:

  • BC resident

  • BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour)

  • 2Spirit/LGBTQIA+ individuals

  • Persons with disabilities

  • New immigrants, refugees, or asylum-seekers

Amount: U‍p to $500

Applications are accepted year-round.

Conference Bursary

This bursary aims to reduce financial barriers for BC evaluators to attend CESBC’s provincial conference. Funds can be applied to waiving conference registration fees or as reimbursement for travel costs.

Applicants must reside in British Columbia to apply. Funds can only be applied to the provincial conference organized by CESBC.

Eligibility:

  • BC resident

  • BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour)

  • 2Spirit/LGBTQIA+ individuals

  • Persons with disabilities

  • Students

  • Those with demonstrated financial need

Amount: U‍p to $700
