About Us

The Canadian Evaluation Society of British Columbia (CESBC) is a Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES). We are a  professional organization for evaluation professionals, students, academics and users of evaluations such as managers, program staff, planners for non-profit, social enterprise or government organizations.

CESBC is a member funded and volunteer organization. We work to provide the evaluation community in British Columbia with learning opportunities, networking and resources. We are happy to take advice and organize events that the community suggests.

Get Involved!

Volunteering with the Canadian Evaluation of British Columbia is a rewarding experience. Volunteers have the opportunity to contribute their good ideas and efforts to shape the nature of the practice in British Columbia.

Past and present volunteers offer their own reasons for volunteering:

"I was able to get a footing in my home province"

"I have been working in other fields and want to move back into evaluation"

"I wanted to mentor new evaluators"

"I just finished school and wanted to make connections in my new profession"
